1d mk3 availability

With the mk4 about to come out, does anyone think there will be any bargains as places clear out their old stock of mk3's? based on experience, how long did stores have the mk2n for before they disappeared?

There coming down already second hand, theres around £1700 mint. Not so sure about new ones though.

can't see the mk3 advertised on jessops' site at all now.....do you think they return stock to canon?

I don't think the uptake on the MKIV will be at levels you might expect, the price is one factor, and couple that up with the problems the MKIII had.. people are holding off a few months!

J*ops still sell the old D3 at full £3k in Bristol. So I can't see new 1D3 going cheap for a few more months then. I hope the prices fall eventually, and hence I am still with 40D and I need a car.
