Hi all, can anyone reccomend me a tried and tested non OEM battery for my 1D mk3. I'm looking for a reasonably priced one as it will only be used as a backup as the original one lasts for ages.
I've tried one from 7 day shop and that lasted 1 charge and then gave up the ghost! Fair play to 7 day shop they replaced it without asking for the old one back. But the new one they sent wasn't even recognised by the charger. What did i expect for £12.99!
So any makes out there that anyone can reccomend?

Thanks in advance

Far be it from me to recommend DigitalRev (the worlds absolute worst for time taken to deliver....search on me for details).

However, the battery works fine in charger and camera and it was about £35 delivered.

I use the batteries from 7Day Shop for my different Canon models (IDs MkII ,10D & 50D) cant complain at all.

I've tried third party batteries and to be honest they just dont last as long as the OEM's.If I'm shooting all day I dont want to be changing batteries two or three times.

I have two mk3 bodies and only one spare battery so I suppose I'm well covered but with the mk3 I can shoot about 7000 images before it gives up!

with two bodies one being used more than the other I havent felt the need for a spare battery... however the mk 4 which uses the same battery as the mk 3 .. well they dont last as long.. it sucks em up quicker :(

I'll have a look to see what they are like.
