I had the MkII and pondered the same questions Re the N Version.
Forget it, If your gonna upgrade go for the MkIII instead.![]()

There are a few background bits, in the user interface, that changed but the real world changes are pretty much limited to;
Larger LCD screen
10% increase in buffer size (22 shots up from 20)
AF point zoom....allows you to quickly zoom the the used AF point rather than centre zoom and then shift to the AF point.

The N can write say jpeg to CF card and raw to SD at the same time Mkii can't.
I seem to remember doing it with mine! Might be wrong though You are wrong, you can wright to both cards at once in raw or jpeg or both together but whatever goes on card one also goes on card 2. Also on the N you can set it to auto switch so whan a card is full it will start on the other, you cant do this on the mk2.Are you sure about that?I seem to remember doing it with mine!
