1d111 or 7d???

With a bit of luck I will be looking for a second body later this year to complement my 50d. My main photography is wildlife or landscapes and was wondering other peoples thoughts on the above bodies? 7d = another crop but improved af etc or a 1D111 older body with less MP but weather sealed and a larger sensor. Just fishing for opinions and ideas, 1dIV would be the answer but I don't fancy the pain if swimbo found out how much that was.

Depends on what lenses you have as 1d111 doesnt work with af-s lenses

Good point, I have a mix of lenses af and af-s but as I intend to keep the 50d for now they would not be wasted and as replaced would be brought into line with the body selection.

Well for landscapes on the 1d you should allow quite some money for a good wide angels (telephotos work on both anw)
