1D3 mirror issues

Hi,
Just got a 1d3, and have just noticed the serial no. Falls into the range of this problem.
I have taken 100 frames or so, with no issues, it seems.
Ive briefly looked online and it seems the bodies corrected by canon have a blue dot, ive looked on mine, but cannot see it.
Would canon still honour the recall?
Was hoping to pair this with 500 f4 is for fairford

Don't worry about it - mine is within the range, no issues, a certificate of repair and no blue dot.

John, any tips, set up for the 1D3? I mainly take aircraft, motorsport photos.

Have 7D too, but already have an affection for its big, but older brother!
