1D3 tuning for football?

Hi guys

Any of you have any tips regarding the custom functions in order to get the best performance for shooting football.

I notice a lot of the functions are similar to those which were on my 7D, is it worth copying these settings or do they act differently on the 1D3?

Cant remember all of mine offhand, but I'm on left/right assist points, generally use centre point most of the time, and I have tracking sensitivity as default, AF tracking method as continuous.

I'll generally try to be in manual, but if it's too sunny/shady then I'll be in Tv using set aperture value range to keep the lens open, and ISO safety shift to bounce the ISO up when shooting shaded subjects. Metering on centre weighted.
