1DS, Colour cast?

I was thinking about upgrading, and going FF. I've heard rumors that the 1DS has a slight green colour cast to it, does this sound right? and if this is true does the 1DSmkII have the same problem?
 
I don't know about the 1Ds or 1DsMkII, but my 5D showed a green cast on the rear display only. The actual image file was fine. Maybe some 1Ds owners on here may know different!
 
1Ds mkII has perfect colour response as far as I can tell. I suggest to get the mkII, as you may want decent ISO1600 and very usable 3200.

All WB issues are / can be dealt with in RAW converter (I use Lightroom).
 
Cheers guys for the response. I wasn't quiet sure what I'd heard. However the green colour cast on the screen might have been it.
 
The original 1Ds has a tendency to produce green tinted images that are taken in evening sunlight, around sunset. I've taken some pictures around this time that look absolutely ghastly - but at any other time of the day, or under any other type of lighting, the cast isn't noticeable. It doesn't bother me as I don't shoot landscape, but I know there are some custom colour curves that can be downloaded and installed to the camera that help combat the cast.

As far as I know, "the green cast" is something that plagued quite a few early digitals.

The original 1d and 1ds have a green cast however you can get custom curvers to get rid of the green tin. mkii and above are not effected by this
 
Ok, so there was a bit more truth to it. I was planning to shoot landscapes with it, so the MKII seems to be the better choice.
 
The 1ds is still a great camera so long as you set a custom white balance, which if your shooting landscapes wouldn't be too much of a hinderance (the light isn't going to change much over the corse of a shoot)
