Hi, Is there a good 3rd party battery for the 1Ds Mark II.
Looking online there are loads of very very cheap ones so assume at the price they are rubbish. In the USA I see originals I think around the £80 mark in the UK £100+
Any suggestions

I have one somewhere from before I sold my 1D. Would you like me to have a look if I can find it? Do not remember if it is OEM or not but it lasted for hundreds of shots.
 
I had a couple of the cheapy ones from 7dayshop and they were fine. Just as good as the originals. That said, you are right that cheapy can sometimes mean theyre not worth it!

I was more than happy with the 7day shop ones I had too.

It was holding charge very well when I used it a few months ago. I see no reason why this would have changed but if it did you can return it for a full refund.
