1DS MK II to 6D?

Hi, I have a 1DS MK II and want to sell it as with the onset of age, my age not the camera the camera is (1) a little heavy (very solid build) and (2) i now find it hard to see the back screen without glasses so would like to buy another full frame to take it's place.
Truth be told the 5D III is out of my price range at this time so I am looking at the 6D and from what I can read it seems to be nearly on par with the 5D mk II but again cheaper new price, as I do mostly land/seascapes the 11 focus points is not really a problem.
Anyone like to give advice on this please especially views on the 6D.

Hi Russ, in my personal experience its more than on par, its an upgrade.

Though admittedly it is lighter/smaller etc but i've preferred this.

My jump from 550d to 5DMkII was an anticlimax, apart from the level of detail of Full frame it wasnt what i expected (probably my fault!). It wasn't bad, it was a definite upgrade but maybe not as much as i had convinced myself, however going from 5DMkII to 6D left me feeling very pleased
