I'm seeking a 1DS Mk2 owner that still has the EOS Utility software and drivers on there computer, and a firewire port.
I recently bought a used 1DS2 from someone on here but i'm unable to change the user name on the camera on my own computer (no firewire port), and any friends that have are running 64bit systems so no good.
Can anyone help? I'm more than happy to pay for someones time, or donate a few drinks (whichever they prefer) if they can do it for me.

Hi Mark,

As mentioned in a previous PM, I still have the software installed on my 32bit laptop. If you have or can get your hands on a 4 pin to 4 pin firewire cable then I'm happy for you to use the laptop to make the necessary changes?

Hi Mark,

No worries :)

Unfortunately there does seem to have been some confusion but if you let me know when you've got hold of a 4pin to 4pin cable then you're welcome to pop over and we can get it sorted.
 
I write this feeling incredibly stupid lol :$

I went to buy a 4pin to 4pin firewire cable, get it home and realise i have a port in the side of my laptop that looks a bit too similar to be true, plug it in, hey presto, all sorted.

Ok feel free to call me a dingbat lol.
