So I landed a classic Canon 1ds cheap as chips (don't ask..) and it's otherwise fine with a new shutter and all, but the rear dial - the big one for your thumb - doesn't register every "click" when turning. And sometimes it can even skip one in the wrong direction. This is painful in Manual mode where the rear wheel adjusts aperture and a nuisance in Av where it sets EV comp.
Anyone had this fault and was it a clean-up job or replacement of parts to fix? I don't want to invest muchos dineros in this old warhorse, it's pretty much on par with the 5D classic on pics but soooooo sloooooow
