1Dx user settings

Having just purchased a 1Dx and finding setting up different to the Mk3 & Mk4's I'm looking for a little advice.

When attempting to set the focus to single centre point I cant get it to illuminate as I did with my Mk3 & mk4. Some searching revealed a firmware update was required which it has the latest installed. At best I can only get it to briefly flicker and not very bright. Anyone help with these settings?

thats all it does mate is flicker and the brightness would depend on the scene. its not great..

You do get used to it and far better than none at all in some low light conditions..

Just shoot 100 frames in a few seconds and some will be in focus
