So today I tried cross polarisation! There are no difital effects here at all - I PROMISE! Polariser over light source and another on camera pop a CD case on the light source and well, what do you think?

ISO 100 TV 0.60sec AV f20 Sigma 105mm, EOS 350D Remote, 2 polarisers!

It was a polariser over the light ( a simple desk lamp daylight balanced from whsmith £6 which was under hobby light box (with the original light fitting taken out) from a craft shop £5 with a polariser sellotaped to that and the inside of a CD holder rested on top). An additional polariser on the front of lens as per usual... Hope that helps!

PS Groovy is about right!

The funky colours are great, but the framing is superb. Wonderful job.

You can use the light from a lcd monitor as the screen has a polarising filter over it already. And still a linear polariser on the camera of course.
