great locations and good pics, not sure what happend with number 4, have you tried medium wool as this will give you more cast off.

Good effect, WW is a really great effect and a lot of fun to do, what setting did you use, I'm just wondering if on #4 the aperture was too small. I see that these are hosted on flickr, if you use the BBCode to link and image on the thread that will allow us to click through to flickr and see the exif

Always have a bucket of water and a wet towel close by. My mate does fire POI and a;ways has them handy.

It does happen:bonk:, Me and Matt Mwhcvt set a field alight last year spinning wool, but as long as you find a suitable location and take either an extinguisher or plenty of water along you should be fine
