hey peeps, my sister in law has decided to buy her partner a dslr for christmas, she's asked me my advice and ive given her a few idea's, but would just like opinions from you lot..... Her budget is around £350 and she would like to get him a kit not just the body, any advice apprieciated and also does anybody know if there is any good deals going on at the minute....
She wants to buy tomorrow while she's got the funds at hand.

This is hard advice to give as a Nikon man but Canon are doing cashback deals through Jessops at the moment.

Damn I just got rid of my 450D and 18-55 VR....for a lot less:bang:!

for £350 if buying brand new then have a look at the Canon 1000d or the Nikon D3000, both are very good cameras and have a big range of lenses and accessories.
