1TB Western Digital .. Scam??

looks too cheap to me but im tight on cash and i need one lol .. hmm

Most of the feedback is for 1$ items, so beware!

As its from China and very cheap, I would say its either a fake or you are going to get stung for import /vat /etc fees, or both

I would say its a fake. Look at his neg feedback, it looks like his USB pen drive was apparently fake, most of the other goods are jewellery.
Bargepole.... comes to mind.

Under £60 on Amazon.....I just got a Seagate for 1TB from Maplin for same price with 2 year gurantee...

ill wait for a bit :)

i could do with a mac tbh but ££££££££££

I kept an eye on this auction and it looks like the seller cleared a few £000 before packing up. Last time I checked (Monday?), over 60 had been purchased @ £19 a pop.

I can't understand how anyone with the power of the Internet at their fingertips could fall for such an obvious scam at a ridiculously low price.

If it seems too good to be true...

If you buy from scan, be careful to read and ensure that the item you buy, is the item which is delivered.
I have purchased several items from them, and have had inferior items sent as replacements.
For example, I ordered a set of 12NS drives, and 12AS drives were sent instead (at the time AS were around £50 cheaper per drive). Took an hour to get through on customer services, but eventually after getting the operator to put me through to the manager, they admitted it was their problem, and arranged replacements. However, it was an argument to get them to fix their mistake.
The other problem I have with scan, is that they insist on using CityLink, who have in the past not delivered items to me on the correct days, and then given me problems with collecting the items (i.e. next day delivery takes 3 days, so I am not in when they come. I phone to arrange that I will pick up the next day, but instead they try to deliver the item, so when I get to the depot 1.5 hours from me, the item isn't there)

An oem 1tb drive would be around £40 at the moment, WD is one of the cheaper brands

ive spent £1000's with scan and never had that issue?

Unfortunately it has happened to me more than once. I might just be unlucky, or I might be one of the few people who checked the model number of what I got delivered. The disks were an expensive buy for me, and to have delivered an order worth £600 less than what I purchased, I was not impressed (especially as I could have purchased from somewhere else cheaper, I just got them from scan, because citylink aside, they can deliver quickly).
