2 from Kenya

Hi I'd really appreciate someone giving me the ID of these two birds I captured in Kenya. I think the second might be some kind of finch by the look of the beak but not really sure at all.
I just wish I had more time than a very rushed few hours to get around the place to get as much photographed as possible.

Thanks for your comments I used my Canon 100-400mm L on my crop sensor 40D, I'm very happy with the amount of magnification and overall image quality of the lens.
I was only in Nairobi for 2 days (working holiday, bringing some helicopters back in an Antonov) so we had a very rushed visit to the Elephant orphanage and giraffe centre (again) and also squeezed in a lightning quick tour of Lake Naivasha and Hell's Gate National Park.
