Cheers Steve. I was shooting with a 2 second self timer to minimise any vibrations but kept on missing the key moment so switched to the phone as a remote instead with no timer so make sure I managed to get it right!

For me the splash works OK but the horizon is out and the splash should have some whites in and the shot falls short of having any.
The second is not an effect I like the water is rendered smoothed out or with some defined movement also there is a lack of whites and blacks that would render those rocks so much better than this

Thanks Alf, is it out as if it is then it must be ever so slightly off as LR thinks it's all level and good? As with the other post I also treated this image to a muted black point, By doing that I couldn't raise the white to a "proper" white as they then stood out and it looked weird and overpowering so I left it as I liked.

I think I've got my inspiration from Ikea, they sell a range of large framed prints that do not have a solid true black point!

I am not really qualified to critic but a couple of comments.

The first pic I nice but dose not really hold my interest for long, while the second pic dose I keep looking into it. If feels moody and interesting it really holds my attention.
