Well, seem to have made it through to 2,000 posts without upsetting the mods too much...........
Have enjoyed my time here, and have learned a shedload of things along the way....... in particular, but no particular order.........
- no question is a numpty question.
- how a DSLR works and how to get the best of it.
- RAW can be your friend. don't be scared by it!
- Crit can be really positive and helpful
- 52's can be a pain in the ---- !
- whilst there are set rules to photography composition they are merely guidelines not rules....... and things can work in wacky crops....../ compositions but don't always do that!
- on the whole a friendly helpful bunch and an excellent well modded site.
- wherever you go / whatever you do, there will always be a luddite / eejit. Just ignore them and move along.
However, most importantly I have met a shedload of pretty much likeminded individuals who share a comomn interest........ when I say "met", some of this is through the forum, some via PM, some now via facebook etc and some are real living people!
Lastly, if Damien ever tells you something is a great idea! - ignore him!
