Sorry for starting another of these but I just can't choose.
As I said in my last thread, sometimes I struggle to get a decent shutter speed in low light (like mid afternoon in winter). I use a 450D and 150-500mm OS. I'm not looking to replace the lens but I think either a 200mm 2.8 or a 70-200mm 2.8 would be useful.
I think the latter is ~£600 second hand so that's my budget.
How does the image quality compare with the 2 lenses?
I think a second hand 7D would also be around that price so I'm wondering if that might be a better choice for now. Probably not but I'll include it anyway.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, with that budget I'd be looking at non-IS
