Without getting blasted is the canon 200 2.8 mk II good for weddings and portraits or should I carry on saving another £500 for the 70-200 2.8 non is ?
It's a lovely sharp lens (particularly at f/4) but would be very long for weddings, I would have thought. I guess it could be useful at the back of a church, but would be very restrictive otherwise (imo).
Indeed it would be going on my 600 d but I also have the 17-55 mm 2.8 and 50 1.8 mm so I'll have inside sorted I was thinking it would be ok for outside candid type shots? Yes I'll be the guy the other side of the venues gardens lol
