It's looking less likely I'll be out on the Dubai International Rally this weekend so time to put up some of my favourite shots from 2011.

I've managed to squeeze in every round of each major championship this year and I've managed to get paid for pretty much everything I've done, which is a major bonus.

Bit of hiatus in 2012 so it's nice to see how my shots have developed over the past year.

You have a brilliant year Dave,and have enjoyed your company when we saw each other.

Definately developed your style and vision and worked hard to do so,cracking stuff,and the last is fantastic,as you know.

Enjoy Dubai,and bell me when u get back for that drink we promised.

Quite frankly, finally [ ;) ] a rally photograph that's a stunning photograph! (y)
 
These are superb, #3, #4, #9. #12 and #13 are my favourites and #18 is just brilliant. I do like #12 and #13 though with the helicopter flying over. Thanks for sharing them. Sharon :clap:

Maybe slightly shortsighted - there are plenty of stunning photographs out there which are also rally shots, but thank you for the compliment.

Some very nice shots, you certinaly got about in 2011. If you don't mind me asking, how did you get paid for most of it?

Hope you had a good time at the Ulster rally. If you enjoyed that you should definitely try to get to the Donegal rally some year, mk2 Escorts going sideways everywhere, and the banter all over Donegal is wile, going down the road you will see black circles at every junction, and i promise you will have a great weekend! lol (y)

Also try Rally of the Lakes, in Killarney, the scenery down there is breath taking, i could hardly believe i was still in Ireland.
 
No.18 is stunning, what a beautiful photograph! Great set, loving them all :)
 
Ummmm, whilst the composition is stunning across the set, the images are soft/out of focus to me, was this the intent??

MOst of our money comes direct from competitors. The images are only a small part of our income, we mainly earn with media packages, producing media and PR for quite a few clients at all levels of rallying.

Won't be back to Ulster (or Ireland) this year due to moving out to Dubai.
