Sad but clearly necessary, will affect the livelihood of the boatmen.

Not sure how they're hoping to stem the losses though given the disease is apparently endemic and we are speaking of wild animals.

Less movement on the ground.
Less stress for the birds.
Less time required by Rangers to service visitors.
