Has anyone used a 24-105 L on a 60D with good results.?

I'm looking to replace my 18-135mm with this, not sure if I'll loose some of the wide angle?

Thoughts please?

I reckon you'll lose about 6mm of the wide angle - and also about 30mm on the telephoto :D

How much do you rely on 18-24mm and on 105-135mm?

I'm sure that the 24-105mmL is capable of giving very good results on the 60D but I have never used that combination.

I use a 28-135mm as my 'usual' lens on my 50D. Sometimes it's not wide enough, but I keep a 10-20mm in my bag, which is sometimes a bit too wide. I haven't been frustrated and I don't feel especially handicapped by it.

I use the 24-105 on my 50d all the time. About 90% of all my photos are taken with it, but I do have a 10-22 for the ultra wide as well. I find it a brilliant lens, although at times the 24 is a little long on a crop, but upto 105 makes it a very versatile walkabout lens.

I've got a 10-22mm canon and find it too wide at times so 24mm would be ok
At times I find the 105-135mm useful.

I'm thinking the lens I have may be good enough as it covers a good focal length
