Hi, I will soon be getting a new D750 but do I get body only or get it with the 24-120mm f4 lens. I currently have the Nikon 24-70mm on my D700 but the 24-120 looks tempting at only another £377 if bought with the body from Panamoz (in fact it looks somewhat a bargain). I'm sure I could sell the 24-70mm f2.8 for almost double that so I would also have some spare cash for other kit.
Question is, how does the IQ compare between the two, I don't think the 24-70mm is as good as the price tag would have you believe, its also a bit of a monster to carry around.
Thanks

I got the Pmoz D750/24-105 kit and am absolutely delighted with the deal. The 24-105 is very good glass for what you are effectively paying for it. Depends, of course, on what focal lengths and aperture you want/need though. Chris' point above is absolutely spot-on.

I can't find a 24-105mm deal on Panamoz Gary is it a typo?
Buy the 24-120 and try it, if you dont like it you will easily make the money spent back.
Ultimately I decided to keep the 24-70 as I do use the f2.8 quite bit.
Good point, I actually got my maths wrong, the 24-120 kit only works out £338 more and they seam to be selling for £450ish second hand, so if I do decide my 24-70 f2.8 is a better option for me then the body would work out even cheaper, so its a no brainer really. Thanks.

Sorry, did this on the phone and in a rush; 24-120f4 VR it is ! Apologies for any confusion.
