You must have been rather close for a 24-70 compared to your normal 70-200. Looks just as good as your others

yep, sold the 17-40 as it was too wide for my needs and got the canon 24-70 f2.8L, lovely lens.

It is a beauty f'sure. Waiting at the mo' for 50mm f1.4 and 135 f2 from Ian. Might splash out on 16-35 f2.8 mk11 when he can get me a price. I hope that will be it for lenses for me 'at least till a long one lust develops'. .
Played with a 1ds mk11 a while back (gorgeous) so m a y b e 1ds mk111 etc.. Then might get round to taking a few pics!
