2nd battery or cheap grip for nikon d5000

right i am planing ahead for brands hatch bsb, ill be there all day for each of the 3 days, i want to take as many pics as i can, i am scared the battery wont last the day, well not scared but id hate to run out of juice, so shall i get a cheap grip or a 2nd battery??

what one should i go for, i dont want to spend loads though, i am a tight sod.

used to own a D5000 and i spend around £45 on a grip and a battery.

The third party grip is only cost £35 and it works great and buy the OEM battery online for £10 which is send from HK and you all good to go.
