i have purchased a tamron 18-270 mm lens and was thinking of using a 2x converter for extra length, my worry is will it still autofocus the tamron is f3.0 i think, i know this will double to f6.0 with the converter, has anyone used this combination with success:) thanks for looking
 
It's f6.3 at the long end with is going to make it f13 with th TC on. The image will be rubbish and you will undoubtably lose autofocus, you will also have to move to Florida to get the light to use it. :)

ahha so i use the higher f number and double that, in that case i will quit photography and move to florida:thumbs: thanks for the quick reply:)
