Yes
The usual monotonous drive home from work yesterday.
I always take the camera just to make the journey more interesting.

I know I should recognise the first two but I can't. Kingussie area?

Favourite is the middle one with that amazing sunburst, really nice :)

First looks to have a really strong magenta cast to the sky, was it like that?

very nice Steve, great area to live in

I'll have to check on the map!
It was on the road from Grantown to Tomintoul somewhere.
The sky was a bland grey so your right it does have a magenta cast which looked fine in Photoshop when I altered balances but somewhere between converting to jpg and uploading it looks a little too strong.

Several people stopped at exactly the same spot snapping the sunburst scene but I had the biggest camera for a change!

Nice ones Steve.....Geogious colours of the heather...

Glad you had your Big One with you !!

 Oh it's so early in the morning, but this cuppa tastes great

The Castle on the hill will be Ruthven Barracks yes? just outside Kingussie.

don't think it is Steep, Ruthven is lower down than that. If it's on the Grantown Tomintoul road I can't think where it is :ponders:

I think your'e right about the castle.
I'll have a look on the map

EDIT:
The castle may have been Auchindoun south of Dufftown. It was on the right.
It was taken on the way up from Alford to Elgin.
I finished up in Inverness then took my usual route home Nairn>Grantown>Ballatar etc for the other shots so they were definitely Cairngorms.
