Hello people, ive been looking on google and can not really find what I am after, basically I cycle round London at time's and take pictures, but I hate the faff of having to remove a rucksack and getting the camera out, then put it away, so ive been using my phone more.

a few of the cycle vloggers ive been watching (Francis Cade and Lawrence Carpenter) use this, I have seen something from skin grows back but there don't ship to the uk and they are expensive.

any suggestions for something simple and easy to use. its to carry a 5Dm3 with a 24mm pancake lens

Black Rapid Curve Breathe. Doesn't fit quite the same way as your picture but it does allow you to bend over (as in cycling) and have the camera stay behind you. They are available in the UK at about sixty quid. I have one and I think they are wonderful. Their website https://www.blackrapid.com/all/camerastraps/

The advantage of having it on your back is much reduced vibrations though.

Looks good but is the camera locked in place on your back??? Just been searching and come across this https://bikepacking.com/gear/outer-shell-camera-strap-review/

but I’d rather get some that’s in stock in the uk.

not really wanting a bar bag

The vulnerability of that fills me with horror! :-D

I find a bar bag is quite good. Just reach in...
I agree.
Bar bag hides the camera and offers protection if you fall off....not found the ideal bar bag yet though....

A camera positioned like that could cause you serious injury if you were to be thrown over your handlebars.

I've been a first-aider all my life and have seen some horrific injuries as a result of carrying kit like this. One I remember particularly well was a paraglider pilot who had decided to freeze his water bottle so he could have a cold drink when he landed. He punctured his heart and one of his lungs with his ribs which very nearly killed him at the scene, but worst of all he ended up losing the use of both his arms and legs. He was only 22 years old. :(
