I am trying to find 2 large scooters with 3 wheels They are for children with special needs aged 9 and 10. I have looked in all the toy shops they are all too small so thinking I may be looking at a specialist supplier or a sports type shop If anyone knows where I can buy these from I would be very grateful

Just cause it ain't on their web site don't mean they can't supply them.
Email or call them you never know they may be able to supply you or point you in the right direction.

Thanks for links and replys they are all too small as said the children are 9 and 10 years of age so by then most children are onto the 2 wheeled scooters so manufacturers tend to stop making anything larger as there is no or very little demand for them Will follow up on Tuesday when places reopen

Hi Bob, This may be a daft thought but could you possibly rig up some stabilizer/ trainer wheels on one of the large scooters if the follow up bears on fruit? Mission cater for special needs, I'm certain they'll be able to help.

Hi Bob,

Have you tried the Dino karts?

The link below is for the three wheeled versions but they also do 4 wheeled karts. We have the Dino classic ZF from my son who is 10 and with special needs and it quite happily takes from my 4 year old (just) to me. They are very well made and I have seen them in a few special needs respite centres and childrens Hospice's.

As suggested above you can get fabricated a pair of brackets for stabilisers to fit a teenageers mountain bike - my in laws have done it and although it looks a bit odd it works very well
Anyway hope this helps - pm me if yuo need any more info.

Nick
