24-70 takes my fancy for wedding & portrait work, how heavy is it? Hopefully lighter than my mk1!

It's on WEX as a pre-order for £2299! I bought the MkI the other day and just received it YESTERDAY!!! I could have bought 2 for the price of that MkII lens..... Seems a little over priced to me although I would expect that to drop to maybe £1500 to £1800 very quickly.

To be fair not sure that I would have gone for the MkII considering the price at the moment so hopefully I'll still be happy with the MkI.

Will wait to see what difference would be to upgrade before I consider it...

as much as I've wanted them to update the 28mm f2.8 it's just ridiculous ! it will only be good for video.

the 24-70mm don't know - especially if it's more than the MKI i don't see the point for people to swap their mkI's to this. ridiculous !
