350D --> 30D :: Viewfinder any bigger?

Hi all,
I have been contemplating putting my 350D up for sale - I have advertised some bits in the Classifieds section, which with the 350D, would be an excellent starter kit.

Which got me thinking - i'd quite fancy a 30D Can anyone tell me if the 30D's viewfinder is any larger than the 350D's?

Well, the 20D apparently is, so I would naturallky assume the 30D is too.

Looking good then. I wonder if Stepheno might be able to confirm? He has traded up to a 30D recently I believe?

Only used a 30D a few times but was used side by side to my 350D and I thought the 30D was larger and clearer/brighter - made me want one, just need money now.

Remember the 30D uses a true pentaprism which helps, whereas the 350D uses a pentamirror, which is a cheaper and not as high a quality alternative.

Is bigger an dbrighter tyo my eye. Add a split screen focus screen if you want to make use of manual focus lenses. Makes life much easier. Fast glass is also much brighter of course ;-)
