360AFD Flash N + C??

Hi have been told that in Jessops the 360AFD with work on both the canon and Nikon as they are both 6v. so went with the canon one as I have more lenses etc, so is it ok to use this on my d5000 ? without wrecking the camera or flash??

I'd be surprised if it'll work properly Lawrie.. Jessops sell seperate Canon and Nikon versions of that flash.

I can't say whether you'd risk damage or not however... Sorry

6v is fine but you do need the canon version or the pins wont match on the hot shoe hth mike oops no it wont work there not interchangeable (sorry):bonk:
