3LT, Sid, Pete & BOB, the monopods.

I have never owned a monopod, but since buying a 300mm lens, with a TC on the way, I have been thinking lately it might be time I did. And coincidentally, I get an email today informing me of some newbie additions to the 3 legged thing range.

They look sweet, the 'Sid' would probably be more than enough for my needs. It's only 82g heavier than the full CF 'Pete' -

Don't think I need a 5 section, that'll be 'Bob'.

Anyone used any of the 3LT products before? or still?

I've heard 3lt is great, and yeah a monopod will help stabolize you lens , don't need to spend so much tho imo

Oh i know there is way cheaper. But i lile the look of these. And 3LT are known for the stupidly high load bearing abilities. I'm sick of tripods and heads claiming they can hold certain weights, only to dip after tightening with nothing close to max.
