I apologise if this has been mentioned previously but i's just like to ask you all for some quick adivde.

I'm attending four wedding this year including my own. Although these weddings have official photographers i want to do a bit of photography myelf and make albums from a guests perspective.

My question is what is the minimal equipment I require to take some professional looking photos?

Your help would be appreciated!

You must have at the very least a Hasselblad H4D. Plus backup. PLus every possible lens combination. If not a black hole will open and the world will end.

On a serious note. Your there as a guest, make the most of the equipment you have and get the best result you are capable off.

If it were me I would put my S95 with a big memory card in it in one jacket pocket and a spare charged battery or two in the other.

No massive camera bag to worry about, and a camera ready to use in about 2 seconds.

It has great low light capability with an f2.0 lens at the wide end and also does HD video.

It's only 10MP but produces great images.

With tounge in cheek I would say professionals produce professional looking images - mostly - I'm sure there's a website somewhere where a wedding photographer used an iPhone to very good effect.

HTH

David

PS feel free to subsitute any high grade compact camera for my S95, there are loads of them about.
