I'm very tempted myself can't find anything cheaper anywhere, we've got a couple of Maxtors at work and we've had no problems with those.
 
I got a similar 400Gb Sigma drive about 3 months ago for £84. Great price and Maplin are really quick to deliver. It's a great buy. Might get another when the price comes down even more :) At the moment 1.5 Terrabytes is enough space to be getting on with
 
Maxtors are usually cheaper "bit for bit". There is a feeling around that they are less reliable but at this price you can create a cheap and easy back-up solution and I have a couple working that are nice and fast and have not failed (yet!).
