40d did something weird today...

I turned the camera on today to take a shot & "full" appeared in the viewfinder & the screen said "cannot create folder".

The card had plenty of space but removing & replacing it sorted it out so is this a card problem or a camera problem

Any experience/ideas?

I would think a card problem...probably best getting the photos off the cards and then re-formatting it in camera

I had a problem like this
sandisk 4gb extreme III the new one
canon 40D
random problem, I don't think I cleared the card.
a simple format solved the problem but not before I got my images back.
always carry a spare!
