i am considering getting one of those leather wrist grips.

any pitfalls i need to be aware of, or any one got reccomendations

prices seem to vary a lot from £6-£40, the old adage you get what you pay for springs to mind

eos magazine has two http://www.eos-magazine.com/EOS%20Collection/shop/straps.html it mentions that one part of the strap attaches where an ordainary neck strap fits, does that mean you could only have wrist grip, in other words one or the other

One part (the top) attaches to the right hand strap connector on your camera and the plastic base attaches to the tripod screw. Depending on the type the plastic mount it should have a strap connector to allow you to still attach a neck strap to it.

thank you Mark

I have the genuine Canon hand strap E1 and it attaches to the rh strap loop and then to the grip, I then have and optec strap attached to the loop in the hand strap. The shoulder strap having quick releases helps as it is easy to remove the shoulder strap.

Thank you Graham

appears quick release system is a must, shall have to have look around
