40D thethered straight in to Lightroom...??!

Decided to to play with tethered shooting this morning, and found it to be much easier to set up than I expected it to be, even using liveview which I thought was very trick indeed!

The only thing I can't figure out (not even sure if it's possible), is how to get the images to download straight to lightroom (preferably straight to editing) rather than "My Pictures" or some other folder on my harddrive somewhere that then needs importing over to lightroom.

I'm sure if it's possible, it'll be some really simple menu option either at the EOS utility end or the lightroom end that I'm missing, but I've looked and looked and looked and can't see anything....

Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

yup, have a look here, you setup a watched folder which it will auto import from

auto import

assume it works, altho personally never tried it!

Agreed on the simplicity once you know how

And just for future reference take a look in the Tutorials, there's one there with the whole setup process with pics
