Hi,

Intermittently, the top control wheel on my 450D has been playing up. I will take a picture and suddenly the wheel won't change any settings. The camera needs to be turned on and off to resolve it.

This problem has been happening a few times within the past month or so and is starting to concern me; should I return my camera body to Jessops under warranty or should I just live with it?

Thanks,
Matt

If in the shop, I am not able to show the problem to them, as it is intermittent, would they still take it on my word?

I take in PC's with intermittent problems all the time and do my best to reproduce them, so yes they should.

Thanks for the replys.
Canon grip or third party?

Try cleaning the contacts on the grip - could be causing a conflict
3rd party Phottix grip. I shall try cleaning the contacts.

Does the fault occur without the grip attached, using the genuine battery ?

If yes, as above, would def take back straight away
I shall try removing the BG and using the camera with the Canon battery for a while see if the problem occurs.
