If you're stuck for something to do on the 15th (Two Days Time!) you might wanna set your alarm clocks a little early...

Photographers around the world might be doing what your about to do.. Get up and get a snap at 4AM whilst a large percentage of people is still a sleep.

See, I'd happily not sleep all night if it meant capturing an amazing landscape at sunrise, or some such. But waking up at 4am, on a Sunday, just for "what I can see in my room for the lulz" doesn't quite appeal ;)

I wont be seeing you all at pointless'o'clock I'm afraid :D

Interesting project, but my official response shall remain as Jog On.

That's just silly. Why not have a 12 noon project or something more sensible like that. At 4am the vast majority of people are asleep.

If you look at the website, the whole point of it is to take a photo at a time of day when few photos are taken.

I'm up at 4am every morning and currently it's still dark then. I might give it a go.

Hmmm, sounds a bit like someone got bored and thought, "I know I'll start a project, get as many people as possible to get up at 4am, than I'll stay in bed nice and warm!".

I'll keep an eye on this one...but I won't be taking part

Cheers.

Well, I work nights, so I'm normally still awake at this time, so might as well give it a go...

Ive explained this to the wife, and her response was 'so a pic of me feeding the little one and back to sleep, is it?'.
Cynic.

Yup, I took a photo of me working at 4am and posted it.:bonk:

I went into town, almost. A combination of drunk chavs along the road and an interestingly lit train enticed me to stop short.
Bumped into a friend on the same mission, mind.

Found out too late... :( just go to end of thread thinking I might do this tomorrow, then realised today was Sunday! Cest la vie!

seeing as it's still pitch black outside at 4am, why not have it at a more suitable time when more people might actually bother taking part (as in the evening)?

4am in a few months time when it's actually getting light might have been a better idea?

Having followed the goings on on twitter, I'm surprised just how many people are taking part... even from my pokey neck of the woods, I bumped into another guy doing the very same.
