I am curious if anyone is using 4K monitors to edit and/or view photos. Given how much 4K TVs have fallen in price, I was expecting 4K monitors to follow the same trend. It hasn’t quite happened but they are nevertheless available. Since I seldom print photos, most of the time I view them on my laptop, occasionally on my IPad, which actually has a better resolution.

Yes, it makes a big difference. Obviously you need a quality adobeRGB capable IPS panel, not budget 4k TV level crap.

I have a couple of 4K monitors as well as 5k iMacs, they just give you more space on screen 
and modern warfare looks better you need to make sure you can drive them as well, so check you graphics card can handle it Worth an upgrade? Not sure, buying new kit? then Yes.

Just bought a 2560 x 1440 screen for photographic work with 100% sRGB gamut.
I got the BenQ PD2700Q which is fine for me, I don't need 4k.
Modern Warfare Warzone still crashes me out to the desktop though :-(
