Hi guys,
I've been doing some video editing and looking to get into it a lot more. I've had a play with premiere pro and really like it. Problem is my PC is about 5 yrs old and too slow to handle anything above 1080p.
Now I'm going to be shooting in 4k (Panasonic lx100) and wanted to build a system which was powerful enough to handle the files.
For now, I will probably export the files as 1080p, but may export some as 4k files too.
a few questions...
1) will something like a dell xps 15 be up to the task of handling the 4k files in premiere pro??
2) if not, and I'm looking at a desktop machine, what spec would you recommend.
appreciate any advice.
JC
