I love it... It's like firing a machine gun compared to my 450D.

It's so sleek and sexy!

The only thing I'm a bit confused about is the exposure compensation. How do you adjust that? I can only find a 'scale' by pushing the ISO button but that is the flash compensation... Where's the normal exposure compensation? I'm baffled. :|

But yeah, if anyone is thinking about upgrading... DO IT. It's another level. It's just sooo cool and I can't put it down!

Do you mean exposure compensation? If so see above.

turn the on switch to the third setting and then use the wheel.
Ah yes -- thanks mate. What exactly is the 3rd setting on the switch for? I can a flick through the manual but it doesn't seem to give a answer to why it's useful? When would you shoot on 'ON' as opposed to the 3rd setting?

Exposure compensation - page 101 of you rmanual.

It can be easy to catch the wheel when shooting depending on your style. some wish to have the rear wheel switched off.

like me - especially shooting in AV/TV you accidently adjust the exp comp and not realise, until at least you start chimping or get home. Luckiy it has only benn 2/3 of a stop out but none the less frustrating.

Ha, it makes sense then! Is there anyway to adjust it whilst in 'ON' even if it's more long-winded?

i think if you half hold the shutter, it can be done with the top wheel:thinking:, cant remember for definite though

push down the joystick, move to the exposure compensation setting and adjust.

P.S. It's worth reading the manual - it's a lot different to the 400-450D:D
