50D file query

Hi. Hope everyone had a good Christmas Day. Out shooting rapid multi shot today, notice (and not for the first time) that the CF card has duplicate CR2 files (same file no. appears twice, same pic) Anyone have any idea what that's about? Got an ERR99 while taking a shot too. Otherwise seems to function just fine.

Are they definitely duplicate raw files or do you have it set to jpg and raw? Otherwise no idea.

not come across that one with keriok though on the jpeg/cr2 thing

No. Its set to just raw file. Seems to take pics OK, but when I look at the card in Bridge there are several duplicates. A mystery!

what about in file explorer? if there is just one file per file name there it could be a bridge issue

David, you might be right. Never thought of that! Doh!

simple solution is to get lightroom
free beta of lightroom 3 is knocking around to try

beta though so might be less reliable than the finished product and 2.6 is bombproof
