50d problem

Just switched my 50d on tonight and I seem to have lost half the lcd screen inside the camera when I look through it.The lcd screen on top of the camera works fine though.I can still just make out what the f stop and asa and shutter speed,Any thoughts

Sorry, I don't really understand what you mean? But you say "when you look through it" do you mean when you look through the viewfinder that something's wrong? ... If so I suspect that the focus screen has become dislodged and should be an easy fix

If it is the focus screen that's dislodged? your easiest option would be to take it to a decent camera shop ... I'm sure they could sort it out

It sounds like the focusing screen dislodged as suggested, or possibly a fault with the mirror. If it's either of those causing the problem you should be able to see it by removing the lens and looking into the camera.
