50mm 1.8 for video ?

Hi guys.

Going on holiday soon and wanting a lens to make good quality video. A lot of the videos will be in low light.... Fireworks, shows, indoor rides etc. Would a 50mm 1.8 be the one for me ?

If you are on crop I think 50mm would be way too long, especially indoors.

I would look at the 24mm f2.8 STM lens.

Full frame the 35mm F2 is or Tamron 35mm VC (both of which will be advantage hand held for video due to image stabilization).

My Sis in law has the 24mm on her 760d, very light apackage and its the equivelant of 35mm Full Frame which I think is a good all round length if doing both indoors and outdoors!
