550D video problem

Quick question:

Been using my Canon 550D for video for a few weeks now. It seems to work fine most of the time but randomly stops recording and gives me an error message along the lines of "video recording has been stopped automatically for an unknown reason". I have it set to NTSC 720 60fps.

I kind of expected problems though as I only have the SD cards from my old non video DSLR which are class 4 I think. I heard you need class 6 for HD video?

I just wanted to check here before spending cash on a new card. If I am right, any recommendations on what card to get or are they all pretty much the same?

Its probably the memory card. Get a nice sandisk class 6 or class 10 card for peace of mind.

Sounds like a memory card problem, I use 16gb Duracell Class 10 (from 7dayshop £14 approx) and my burst capacity went up from a stated 34 frames to well over 50. There is a big difference between cards.
