Class 57's were owned by Virgin who used them as rescue loco's and gave them the collective nickname Thunderbird (International Rescue) - with each loco named with reference to the TV series.

57316 was named FAB 1 - although the nameplates were removed and sold to charity after the demise of Virgin Trains.

Now owned by West Coast Railways and used for heritage tours.

I think it needs straightening up a little bit.
 
I thought that too - but it may be the camber on the curve. The concrete lamp post to the right of the picture looks correct and I took it with the camera resting on a vertical rail.

Next time out I'll double check.(y)

@Pete, If you rotate the image about 4 degrees anti-clockwise it straightens up the post holding the red lamp on the left and the fence posts on the right.

Having said that, I rather like the image with the rakish angle applied :)
